Job requirements
  • Contributing to the registration of facilities for handling substances hazardous to water and the compilation of the necessary documentation
  • Development of concepts for the systematisation of the update check of the approval documents
  • Evaluation and preparation of overviews from SAP and support in the preparation of permit documents
  • Life-cycle activities to keep the Focused Factory Drug Substance facilities up to date with the latest regulations/requirements
  • Preparation, implementation and follow-up of audits
  • Preparation, updating and review of substance quantities, hazardous substance lists, coordination of wastewater loads and waste balances
  • Supporting the BImSch officers in the area of Focused Factory Drug Substance
  • Act as contact person for all BImSch issues in the Focused Factory Drug Substance
  • Project work and support
  • Completed studies (diploma, master's degree) in the field of chemistry or engineer for process technology/chemical process engineer or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the classification and labelling of substances and mixtures according to the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances, the Water Resources Act and other chemical legislation and environmental law
  • Initial experience in the field of environmental assessment of substances
  • Very good analytical skills and ability to comprehend and present complex issues
  • Organisational talent with good communication skills in German and English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Residence in Germany
