We are looking for Chefs / Cooks for various places such as restaurants, hotel restaurants, gas stations in various locations in Lapland (Rovaniemi, Levi, Ylläs, Saariselkä, and others). Our clients are well-known in Finland and serving high-quality food to customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Working in service station restaurants / hotel restaurants / other restaurants
  • Various locations in Lapland
  • Preparation of a la carte menus / breakfast / buffet tables
  • Ensure the standards of the portions prepared
  • Other possible duties ( daily inventories, warehouse monitoring during the shift, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen...)
  • Working language: English

Job requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A genuine passion for cooking
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and time management
  • Relevant educational background
  • Relevant work experience in a similar position is an advantage
  • Communicative English level (min. B1)
  • Great team player skills
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn every day
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Benefits

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Fixed-term Finnish employment contract, from mid October 2023 until end of March 2024
  • Salary: according to relevant collective agreement + extras for working evening and night shifts (depends on the client)
  • Working schedule: 112,5h per three weeks or 90h per three weeks (depends on the client)
  • Possibility of additional shifts and extra hours (depends on the client)
