Cold dishes, hot food, desserts, staff food…

As an banquet- and conference chef, your overall goal is to make our guest and colleagues happy. You do this by preparing delicious menus and by being our smiling and welcoming face to the guests.

You are going to:

• Prepare and serve menus – many identical dishes in top quality
• Assist at the buffet e.g., slicing or “live Cooking”
• Training of new trainees and students
• Answer questions from the guests about the food and ingredients

At Tivoli Hotel, we take pride in the fact that you are constantly learning and developing. You will therefore work in several different areas, such as the cold and hot kitchen with desserts and in our staff restaurant. If you want to change role or position, we are open to it and ready to support you with, for example, courses, education. With our many very different hotels, there are plenty of options in the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group.

Interest in cooking and great desire to learn’

Whether you are an educated chef is not essential. It is your personality that makes the difference at Tivoli Hotel. You must have an interest in cooking and a great desire to learn new things and develop yourself. As a conference chef it is important that you are good at planning your own work and be part of a team – you must be able to produce a lot of dishes in relatively short time. You also must be able to commit yourself in English and be open to collaborating with colleagues from around the world.
