Chef de Partie

We are recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our team in the heart of Galway City. Your role is to assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef to achieve the highest standards of food production and customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment to provide effective internal service.

The Role
• This position will be across all sections of the kitchen, giving you an in-depth
knowledge of a higher-end kitchen.
• Prepare and present all dishes to our regular high standards
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily running of the kitchen.
• Preparing meat and fish
• Monitoring portion and waste control
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

Job requirements

The Candidate

  • Good command of spoken and written English is essential.
  • Working with and cooking fresh fish to a very high level a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm, excitement and passion as well as all of the necessary creative skills
  • Superb team work, time management and communication skill
