Our client
Our client is a supplier which produces steel structures in the on- and offshore industry. Our client produces for example: Top Hat Q-beam, THQa-beam, castellated beams and cellular beams.
Our client is working in this industry since 2010, nevertheless they have lots of experience in this industry. Since May 2014, our client had achieved the EN1090-certificate for execution class 3 (EXC3). Our client also possesses the EN-ISO3834-2 certificate. This certificate allows our client to produce load-bearing structures with CE-marking.
Functiebeschrijving
For our client we are looking for a calculator/planner who is able to balance customers’ interests with the interests of our client.
As the calculator you will be responsible to calculate tenders based on architectural and constructive drawings of various products.
As project engineer you will be responsible to elaborate the assignment in detail and guide this until the production process starts. Monitoring the process and delivery times are your responsibilities during the preparations of the project.
Job Requirements
- Secondary vocational education or higher vocational education is required;
- Experience in steel contruction industry;
- Experience in a similar position (references;
- Able to work independently or in groups;
- Experience with Autocad, Tekla or Strucad is required;
- Strong communication skills;
- You need to fit well in the team;
- Knowledge and experience with understanding drawings;
- English and/or German language skills are required;
- Possession of a VCA certificate is a benefit.
Working conditions
Initially this position will consist of 0.5 FTE. You will grow to a 1 FTE (38 hours) position as you executed more tasks as the assistant of the director. Your salary is based on your experience and the position you will fulfill.
