EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to understand the specific needs and being able to translate those requirements into a comprehensive solution.
• Turn complex business requirements into feasible technical solutions.
• Must be able to lead and provide guidance to other team members to ensure overall delivery of customer specific solution implementations for Business Intelligence domains.
• Be able to articulate roadmap of SAP products & solutions around Business Analytics (BA) strategy.
• The candidate is required to actively engage in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects. In addition, the candidate is expected to be able to perform feasibility studies and process design reviews, project assessments, support pre-sales activities, as well as define detailed blueprint for development requirements, driven to BPC solutions.
• The candidate should have led blueprint/design and realization phases for at least three BPC implementations.
• Have an appetite to acquire new knowledge, adapt to and contribute to fast innovating software business and emerging technologies.
• Ability to assist customer in designing BI strategies for their SAP on premise and Cloud environment(s).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in technical, business and user-friendly language.
• Ability to handle one or more projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to travel is a must as and willingness to participate in international projects.

• Deliver projects and foster the expertise in SAP Business Analytics area: BW Modelling, Reporting and BPC.
• Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Graduate / post graduate Degree from a well know and accredited university or institution, preferably in Information Technologies or Computer Science.
• Combination of business and technical education is preferred.
• Strong conceptual design and analytics capabilities with an ability to balance theory and practical reality.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities in complex, multi-vendor computing environments.
• Solid spoken and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation capabilities, especially in driving consensus among senior technical resources.
• Certification in SAP solutions preferred.
• Fluent in English (at business level) and in one of the following: Spanish, Italian or French.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse, approaches/concepts, Best Practices and Standards.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, like Analysis Office.
• Expert level in BPC Planning & Consolidation embedded version.
• Experience in programming languages (ABAP programming, SQL or others).
• Experience in BI-IP (integrated planning)

WORK EXPERIENCE

Overall, the candidate must have 5+ years’ experience and at least 3 years’ experience in BPC/BW solutions with at least 1 full cycle implementation.

• Experience using Business Warehouse (7.0 or higher) software.
• Experience working with customers to define requirements and identify data management solutions.
• Experience with BPC Embedded version, both consolidation and Planning
• Able to work with client to define and execute strategies around these concepts from both a business process and technology perspectives.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

Hands on experience:

• Implementing HANA solutions.
• Data integration for analytics or Big Data applications
