Come and join Group Procurement in Hempel A/S. We are constantly challenging and being challenged in doing the best procurement efforts to support the rest of the Hempel family. Our most important responsibility is to ensure we get deliveries to keep our factories and other business going, at the best commercial conditions possible. We are a dedicated, professional and highly competent team of 60+ people around the world working together in achieving Hempel´s Double Impact strategy and cooperating in a highly multicultural and international environment.

As our Business Insight and Digitalisation Analyst you will be a key player in adding insights and analytics from our raw material reporting. You will support us in localising key trends across categories, customer segments and regions, and providing useful insights for all relevant stakeholders. You will be joining a dedicated team of Group Procurement colleagues. The team is based in Hempel’s headquarters in Kgs. Lyngby in the Copenhagen area. Depending on your preferences and situation, you can be based in Lyngby (DK) Darwen (UK), Gdansk (Poland), Buk (Poland), Coesfeld (Germany) or Polinyá (Spain).

 

Support us in strengthening our team

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Our monthly raw material cost development reporting, including all steps from input of prices to creating the report going out to +200 recipients internally in Hempel

  • Creating value, adding insights and analytics from the raw material reporting, showing key trends across categories, segments and regions, providing useful insights for all relevant stakeholders

  • Constantly improve the reporting according to changing needs from stakeholders

  • Do micro and macro analyses on our raw material business

  • Analytics tool, including bridging raw material price development with cost for finished goods

  • Our direct spend cube and analytics in regards to our direct spend

 

We are looking for a professional with a strong analytical mindset

As our ideal candidate you have a background in Business and Economics and experience working with BI tools. You have 3-4 years of experience from a similar position in an international environment. Combined with that you have a strong analytical mindset and are able to interact with stakeholders at all levels. At the same time, you have business acumen and understand the world of procurement and the implications of raw material markets’ development. You have strong IT skills, specifically in regards to bridging the role as user with the role as developer, and you are a solid user of Excel and the Microsoft Office package. As a person you have a good eye for the details, and at the same time you have the ability to take a 360 helicopter perspective, when needed. Our corporate language is English. Therefore, it is a must that you speak and write English on a high level.
