Bluetooth/BLE SoC Architect

 

Are you able to develop our high-tech semiconductor Bluetooth/BLE solutions at the technical leader in secure connections? 

 Following the success of Product Line Personal Health, based in Leuven we are looking for an Architect, specialized in Bluetooth protocol implementations on our Connectivity IC’s. Your JobAs the Bluetooth/BLE System-on-Chip Architect, you will be responsible for the definition, implementation and test strategy development for the Bluetooth (Low Energy) protocol on our Connectivity IC’s.

  • • Together with product manager, you interact with customers to discuss and clarify the Bluetooth related requirements.
  • • Actively follow the Bluetooth standardization and you participate into the Special Interest Group(s) as a representative for the Product Line.
  • • You discuss the functionality and the technical interfaces with our suppliers.
  • • You ensure the consistency and efficient integration of the Bluetooth protocol stack in the overall software stack to meet the specification.
  • • You guide the development engineers in the design and implementation.
  • • You support a structured project approach and will be part of a team. 
  • • You maintain contacts with colleagues elsewhere within NXP.

Your Profile: 

  • • Master/Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, specialized in embedded software.
  • • Strong experience in Bluetooth and/or Bluetooth Low Energy, both from hardware, system- and firmware implementation point of view.
  • • Proven experience in the certification of  BLE products and its sub-parts.
  • • Experience with participation to plugfests.
  • • Experience in embedded software development in close relation with hardware.
  • • Experience in application specific IC-development.
  • • Knowledge of wireless audio streaming and related communication protocols. 
  • • Experience working in organizations compliant to ISO9001 and CMMI standards.
  • • Pro-active and creative, quality-oriented and you work very structured.
  • • Good communication and English language skills are a must 
  • • You can work in team as well as independently, 
  • • You will be working in Leuven, with regular travel abroad.
