Blade Test & Validation Engineer (182774)

For our Blades Department we are looking for a Blade Test & Validation Design Engineer who is a specialist within the field of full-scale blade testing and validation. The Blade Department has the full responsibility for structural design, materials, structural validation and certification of our wind turbine blades, and work in close collaboration with other R&D functions and Manufacturing/Supply Chain. The position is located in Aalborg, Denmark where the design team as well as our state-of-the-art Blade Test Center is located in connection to our modern blade factory.

What are my responsibilities?

· Specification of test and validation activities for certification and risk mitigation of new blade designs · Coordination and follow-up with test technicians and engineers · Evaluation of test results including documentation for certifying bodies · Leading the development and introduction of new test methods to improve knowledge and understanding of critical blade response · Standardization and automation of test reports

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You have a degree in engineering, and you are an experienced and highly trained specialist within full-scale testing from either a blade manufacturer, a Blade Test Center or other full-scale testing · You have a quality-oriented and meticulous approach to your tasks · You are independent, flexible and open-minded · You are curious and striving to be a member of a team setting the optimal standard for blade testing · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
