Bartender

The Cusack Group is made up of the Newgrange Hotel, Ardboyne Hotel in Navan and sister properties in Trim, the Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa and Golf resort and the Castle Arch Hotel. The Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort are looking for experienced Bartender's for their Terrace Lounge and Swift's Bar.

Job Description

To ensure the day to day operations of the Bar are carried out in line with the department and Hotel standards. To provide quality service to guests in both Food and Beverage. To carry out duties in accordance with Liquor Licensing and Health and Safety requirements.

Main Duties

• To be fully conversant with and adhere to all rules and regulations of the Hotel
• To ensure the correct levels of beverage stock, glassware, condiments etc. in line with procedures are maintained in the Bars at all times.
• To rotate beverage stock correctly using the F.I.F.O system.
• To understand and comply with the Licensing & Equity Laws / Trade Descriptions Act.
• To attend training sessions as per the departmental training plan or as when required by management.
• To record drink orders accurately and provide customers with a till receipt for their purchase.
• To ensure security of cash, stock and equipment and to never leave the Bar unattended.
• To assist in stock control measures implemented, including recording of all wastage in order to achieve budgeted profit margins

Must have a valid work permit for Ireland
