You will work with a world class product, QlikView, with the most talented people in software development, where innovation and knowledge sharing is built into your daily activities at Qlik.
Your responsibilities
- You will work with new development and support including design, implementation of new features and bug tracing.
- You will work with our DB/ORM solution and make sure we have the right configuration, best design and that it is performing at its best.
- You will see too that we are up to date with what version of the DB we shall have and that we have a migration path when upgrading to a newer version.
- Make sure there is always a migration path for possible DB changes between different version of our products
- Be a key team-player, developing and designing server solutions that contributes to the development of QlikView
- Be creative and come up with unconventional solutions
- Honor the software craftsmanship
Your profile:
- At least 5 years of working experience
- Excellent skills in C# and the .Net framework
- In depth database skills preferable in PostgreSQL, SQL Server and/or Oracle and great skills in designing a high performing DB.
- Great knowledge of DB usage in a multi node environment.
- Great knowledge of ORM frameworks.
- Solid experience in multi-threading
- Experience of database replication and synchronization
- Experience of system with high concurrency
- Experience from using agile software development methods like XP or SCRUM is required
- Experience from QlikView is desirable
- Experience from working with Cloud or SaaS is considered a merit
- Experinece from working with Open Source is considered a merit
- Excellent verbal and written English as the corporate language is English
