The Role

 

The Associate Director ERP Finance, Source to Pay (S2P) is a member of the Global SAP Finance Center of Excellence within Genmab Corporate Controller’s organization. S/he is tasked with the design, build, support and continuous improvement of Genmab’s global S2P processes.

 

The S2P processes include Material and Services procurement, Intercompany purchases, Vendor management, Requisition to Purchase Order activities, Invoice processing and payment. In the near future responsibilities will be expanding into Business Spend and Contract Management.

 

Together with the entire global Genmab Finance team your comprehensive expertise in the S2P processes and your deep knowledge in SAP and specifically S4 / HANA ERP platform, will add value on a constant basis. This value-add will be accomplished through engagement with key stakeholders in analyzing business operations to provide sustainability solutions for our business. The Associate Director will also partner with other systems operation professionals for assessing business impact for future systems enhancements and identification of opportunities.

 

This is a new and fast-growing area within Genmab and the candidate must have the ability to identify gaps in processes and balance the business needs with the system capabilities. Success in this role will require strong change leadership skills to get consensus from both management and end users to adopt process and system change.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy and support global processes in Accounting Operations and overall Finance based on SAP S/4HANA and other digital solutions such as Concur and OpenText

  • Drive the development and implementation of process and system improvements working within the Global SAP Finance COE

  • Develop and translate strategy into tactical and operational goals and objectives, identify necessary resources (people and capital)

  • Collaborate with key S2P colleagues within Finance and IT to sustain and enhance processes, maintain process flows, documentation, training materials, and work with internal control owners to ensure financial controls are retained

  • Assess opportunities against business objectives and develop creative means to implement new and innovative technical and process-based solutions (bolt-on, robotic automation)

  • Lead projects within the S2P processes scope with a focus on reducing process costs and improving investment returns

  • Testing and Training Leader for the entire S2P team

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance

  • 8-10 years of work experience in Finance & Controlling with knowledge in either SAP, SAP S/4HANA

  • Passion for ensuring efficient processes

  • Result-oriented and proactive working style with the ability to collaborate with all stakeholders and external consultants

  • Biotechnology or Life Science experience strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of IFRS, FP&A systems, and tools preferred
