The Role

 

The Associate Director ERP Supply Chain Management and QA (SCM) is a member of both the Global SAP Finance Center of Excellence within Genmab Corporate Controller’s organization and the Commercial Supply Chain within Genmab Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls’ (CMC) organization. In this role you are tasked with the design, build, support and continuous improvement of Genmab’s global SCM, QA and manufacturing processes within the ERP application.

 

The SCM processes include sales and operations planning (S&OP), inventory planning, manufacturing forecasting, response and supply planning, subcontracting including quality management, demand-driven replenishment, logistics and warehousing and supply chain monitoring.

 

Reporting directly to the Global SAP Finance CoE Director, your comprehensive expertise in the SCM and manufacturing processes and your deep knowledge in SAP (specifically S/4HANA) ERP platform, will add value on a constant basis. This value-add will be accomplished through engagement with key stakeholders, in particular the Head of Commercial Supply Chain, in analyzing business operations to provide sustainability solutions for our business. The Associate Director will also partner with other systems operation professionals for assessing business impact for future systems enhancements and identification of opportunities.

 

This is a new and fast-growing area within Genmab, and the candidate must have the ability to identify gaps in processes and balance the business needs with the system capabilities. Success in this role will require strong change leadership skills to get consensus from both management and end users to adopt process and system change.





Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy and support global processes in Supply Chain Operations and overall CMC based on SAP S/4HANA across Planning, subcontracting Quality management and Logistic

 

  • Drive the development and implementation of process and system improvements working within the Global SAP Finance COE

 

  • Develop and translate strategy into tactical and operational goals and objectives, identify necessary resources (people and capital)

 

  • Collaborate with key SCM and QA colleagues within CMC, Finance and IT to sustain and enhance processes, maintain process flows, documentation, training materials, and work with internal compliance owners to ensure GXP compliance are retained

 

  • Assess opportunities against business objectives and develop creative means to implement new and innovative technical and process-based solutions (bolt-on, robotic automation)

 

  • Lead projects within the SCM/CMC and QA processes scope with a focus on improving process efficiency and improving investment returns

 

  • Testing and Training Leader for the entire SCM and QA team



Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance

 

  • 8-10 years of work experience in supply chain and manufacturing with knowledge in either SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA

 

  • Passion for ensuring efficient processes

 

  • Result-oriented and proactive working style with the ability to collaborate with all stakeholders and external consultants

 

  • Pharma, Biotechnology or Life Science experience strongly preferred

 

  • Working knowledge of GXP, Part 11 compliance, and associated tools preferred

 

  • Naturally proactive, enthusiastic and goal oriented
