We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for Southern Europe for poultry and pig markets. Do you want to contribute to implement SKOV’s sales strategy in Southern Europe? Then you may be the right person for our team.

As a part of this development, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager. The task will be to increase revenue and market share through a combination of sales and marketing activities working with key accounts and distributors. Headquarter is based in Denmark (Glyngore), so the job will include frequent travelling and interaction with customers, stakeholders, and the internal team colleagues at SKOV A/S in Europe.

Your role will be to:

  • Implement SKOV’s sales strategy in the area together with the sales and service team.
  • Develop and strengthen the relationship with key customers and distributors.
  • Provide system and equipment recommendations to key customers.
  • Work with the projecting team to provide climate solutions that are in line with market requirements and customer needs.
  • Negotiate with key decision makers on projects.
  • Keep up to date with market developments and trends to identify sales opportunities.
  • Participate in industry exhibitions and seminars as needed.

To be a success in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • Relevant technical degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience with proven record in sales and distributor management.
  • B2B sales with an agro industry equipment manufacturer.
  • Experience with poultry or pig climate equipment provider is preferred.
  • Business oriented and highly competent in negotiating agreements.
  • Experience developing and working with distributors.
  • Experience in selling projects to customers.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with others.
  • Based in Spain or close to would be preferable, and willingness to travel 65% of the time.
