In your new role you will be responsible for:

  • Defining leading edge, integrated power products and power devices addressing both application and market needs
  • Verification/evaluation of engineering devices during the development process
  • Product support (e.g. fighting guides, application notes, test benches for product comparisons, demoboards)
  • Interactions with multiple parts of the organization on site (Technology Development, Quality Management, etc.) and world wide
  • Interfacing to the customers and enabling the regional organization to ensure design-ins and design-wins.

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • University / University of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable
  • Fluency in English language
  • At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in the area of power devices
  • Understanding of power devices and low and medium voltage power systems
  • Switched-mode power supply (SMPS) knowledge as an advantage
  • Electrical and Thermal Simulation Software (e.g. Simetrix/Simplis, Orcad Pspice, Flotherm) and MS Office skills as a plus

You like working in an international team and interact with multiple different groups to define and bring to market our new technologies and help expand Infineon's world leading position in Power MOSFETs.

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G - H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.

The Power Management & Multimarket segment (PMM) designs, develops, manufactures and markets power semiconductors for the use in power supplies, components for mobile devices as well as radio-frequency power amplifiers for cellular network infrastructure.
