Job offer description
An exciting opportunity now exists at The Sheraton Athlone Hotel for an Accommodation Supervisor to join our award winning Accommodation team. This role will entail working weekdays and weekends.
Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will have strong attention detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times.
Job requirements
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure the effective management of the Accommodation department and ensure the day-to-day operations are carried out in line with brand standards.
- Ensure that the cleanliness of Bedrooms, corridors, linen room and public areas within the hotel are maintained to the highest standards.
- Ensure the highest level of customer care is practiced at all times.
- Liaising & communicating with Front Office and Reservations teams regarding room status.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous Hotel Housekeeping experience (2+ years)
- Must be professional, well presented, friendly and reliable
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be a good team leader
- Must be available to work weekdays and weekends
- Must have a good level of spoken English
