PURPOSE OF JOB:   

TO MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF CLEANLINESS AND HYGIENE IN ALL AREAS OF THE HOTEL FOR THE COMFORT AND WELL BEING OF HOTEL PATRONS AND GUESTS.

 

Duties include:

 

  • To clean assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridor areas, balcony areas and public/leisure areas to the highest standards, using only the approved chemicals / cleaning materials and equipment.  Ensuring stocks of bathroom and bedroom items are replenished to the correct standards.
  • To present for duty in full uniform including name badge.
  • To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene.
  • To clean public areas / toilets and sign off bathroom checklist on a hourly basis.
  • To collect supplies including linen are directed by the department manager / asst. manager / supervisor.
  • To adhere to and maintain all cleaning programmes as directed.
