Our customer is the largest Dutch multimedia company. Our customer is the largest Dutch publisher of websites (comparison / blogs / webshops / communities), mobile apps and magazines. The traffic varies from literally several billions of hits per month to 700.000+ unique visitors per day on one website. The choice of technology for the website back-end is Python. The customer is organised in brand teams brands; 50 plus developers are working in different scrum teams.
Job Description for vacancy Python / Django Developer
As a Python Developer you are participating in the development of high-traffic websites and generic application platforms. Depending on your experience you will be actively involved in:
- the architecture and design of the software and databases;
- code review;
- support and guide less experienced colleagues.
The websites you will work for have a large impact in the Dutch market. Therefor your ideas and input will have a significant impact and will be noticed by the Dutch consumer market.
Ideal Python / Django Developer e-Business
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or related field;
- At least 3 years experience with professional software development;
- At least 1 year experience with Python / Django development;
- Preferably good knowledge of front-end software technology;
- Experienced in working in agile project teams (scrum);
- Excellent communication and English language skills.
