How to apply
In order to get the most of this event, you should:
- Improve your profile / CV
Your CV is your "business card". Make it attractive and clear, showing your potential employer all the skills (languages, technical and soft skills), educational background, and experience you have for the job.
- Upload your CV to the platform
If you haven’t done so yet, we strongly advise you to upload your CV, in English, French or German. You can also add your video CV (on YouTube or Vimeo), your LinkedIn profile, or any online portfolio to make it visible to employers.
- Apply for jobs
There will be several jobs on the platform. Browse through these vacancies and apply as soon as possible.
To make the best impression on employers, we recommend applying only for positions that match your profile. Carefully read the job description and apply only if your skills and experience are relevant.
Language skills are essential in Switzerland. If a position requires certain language abilities and you do not meet them, it is better not to apply.
Similarly, if a role requires specific qualifications that you do not have, focus on opportunities that are a better fit for your profile.
This approach increases your chances of success and ensures a positive impression with employers.
Please note: uploading your CV is not enough; the employer can only view your profile/ CV when you apply for their vacancies.
- Confirm your attendance at interview
Participating companies may also invite you for one or more online interviews, to take place on the day of the event or after the event day.
In case you are shortlisted, you will receive a notification from the employer(s), along with suggested interview times, to which you should respond as quickly as possible.
Please check your invitation regularly.
If you have confirmed the interview slot, you should join the video chat with the employer at the agreed time by logging in to the platform, going to My job applications and clicking on the Join interview button.
- Prepare for the interview
To be better prepared for the interview, you should search for more detailed information about the company, their main projects, and their recruitment needs, as well as review their page on the list of participating employers. Select the companies that have invited you for an interview, identify the questions you wish to ask, and try to anticipate the employer’s possible questions.
A professional appearance is important, and a positive attitude will be very helpful.
Please ensure that, before the online interview, you have access to a stable internet connection and a PC, laptop, tablet/iPad, or other mobile device equipped with a webcam and a headset with a microphone.

Why choose Valais
Why Valais? Because everything starts with quality of life here – and work fits right into that. That's why Valais has adopted the concept of “life-work balance” as its own. The region combines economic growth with this ambition: innovative industries, exciting career opportunities and modern infrastructure that space for ideas and entrepreneurship. At the same time, the mountains and nature are just a stone's throw away. This is also one of the many reasons why Valais is considered a true family paradise. Here, you’re not just choosing a place to live, but a lifestyle.
