European Job Day - Gdańsk
About this event
EURES from Gdańsk invites everyone interested in working abroad to take part in the first European Job Day which will take place on 2 April 2014 in Gdańsk.
If you are an employer, you can expect to meet hundreds of qualified jobseekers within your sector.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to:
- chat live with potential job-seekers and employers,
- publish job offers on the website,
- apply for job offers (send CVs),
- provide the latest labour market information and advice,
- take part in workshops for jobseekers about living and working conditions in each participating country.
As a jobseeker, you can expect to find employers within the following sectors: constructions, hotel and catering services, seasonal work, engineering, IT, transport but other areas may be represented as well.
The European Job Days Gdańsk onsite event will take place in the AmberExpo exhibition hall (www.amberexpo.pl). More informtion about the onsite event you can find on metropolitalnetargipracy.pl.

Getting there
This year's European Job Days - Gdańsk will be held in AmberExpo - the largest and most modern exhibition centre in the city. The exhibition centre is located just 5 km from the centre of Gdańsk (in the dynamic developing district of Letnica).
The easiest way to get to the venue is by public transport, with trams lines 1, 7 and 10 all leading to the AmberExpo. For a detailed schedule, including timetables, check the official website of Public Transport in Gdańsk.
Żaglowa Street, where AmberExpo is located, can also be reached by bus - on line 158. You can download a detailed schedule from the WTA website in Gdańsk.
If you arrive in Gdańsk by train, exit the main railway station and go to the nearest tram stop (opposite the station) where you can hop on tram lines 1, 7 and 10. Your journey to AmberExpo should not take more than 15 minutes.

If you are a looking for a job in Europe and would like to learn more about the working and living conditions in different European countries and maybe you want to meet employers interested in recruiting foreign workers?
Visit us necessarily at online job fairs 2 April 2014 year. Through a computer with internet access will be able to participate in the fair wherever you are at any given moment . All presentations will be broadcast live on the internet and visitors will be able to chat online with employers and EURES advisers via chat.
How to participate:
- Register for your free account and prepare your CV in English or in another language accordance with the requirements of the job offer.
- Check the list of exhibitors . It will be an opportunity to talk with them when you click chat . Make sure that you are logged into the site , when you start a chat session.
- Watch the presentation program that will be broadcast live. After the event, you can also check out the presentations.
- Check the list of jobs that interest you and which really fit your profile. Apply by clicking "Apply". This means that the exhibitor may consult your CV during the fair or later and ask for a possible job interview.
