Onyx One is the online platform that enables the registration, qualification and training of contractors working for large industrial clients. It is a contractor management system with focus on safety and compliance. Onyx is an SME with ambition. We work together with the largest companies and we are rightly proud of that! FUNCTION You focus on the further development of Onyx One. Your gaze is always future oriented so we can deploy the latest technologies. You do that by:

  • Getting to know Onyx One from A to Z.
  • Thinking and working Agile. Every day you ask yourself: What is the ‘real’ need and how do we offer the optimal solution?
  • Analysing the needs and building tomorrow’s functionalities together with the product owner, the system architect and the development team.

You will work with:

  • Web technologies such as PHP, JQuery, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Bootcamp, MySQL...
  • Object oriented programming
  • Git and GitFlow in a Linux based development environment
  • The Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence ...)
Requisiti professionali

You have experience (or are eager to gain new knowledge) in:

  • PHP (+1 year)
  • Design patterns
  • OOAD principles
  • Modern development architecture/frameworks such as SOA, micro-services, serverless architecture, domain driven design...

What we expect from you:

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience
  • Your specialty is to develop user-friendly and intuitive software
  • You love creative work and like to come up with new ideas yourself
  • If you have experience in React, Node.js, Express… that is an advantage
  • You are fluent in English both spoken and written, the language of our near- and off-shore development team
  • You live in Belgium or abroad
