At Restaurant Møllehuset in Frederikshavn, we create unique experiences for our guests - both in the form of taste experiences that lead the guests into a world of flavours from North Jutland in wonderful combination with specially selected wine and beer. But also in the form of cosy nature experiences in the Bangsbo area, where we, by combining several sensory impressions, try to deliver moments that add a little colour to life.

We are first and foremost a banquet and a la carte restaurant. We have service in our DNA and our goal is to provide top quality experiences for our guests every time they visit us.

As is evident from our interest in developing an online farmer’s market, our products and dishes are all homemade from local ingredients. Our skilled employees take pride in their craftsmanship, and we produce jams, cold cuts, cheeses, bread and much more. In addition, we produce our own soaps and creams from natural ingredients and herbs from Bangsbo. We have developed a “bjesk” called “Mølledram”, an herbal spirit, and we make our own juices and cordials from berries and fruits from Bangsbo and the surrounding area - including our popular elderflower cordial. We go to great lengths to use ingredients from nature around us and gather according to season and need.
