The Department of Social Protection and EURES Ireland are working with Nursing Homes Ireland and Home & Community Care Ireland to recruit essential workers for the healthcare sector across Ireland. 

We are all aware of the importance of healthcare workers in caring for people in their own homes, in nursing homes and healthcare facilities around the country.  The demand for healthcare assistants over the coming months will be significant and employers are looking to fill hundreds of vacancies in the sector.

You are invited to apply for these opportunities by attending our ‘Healthcare Recruitment in Ireland’ online event.

   On 23rd November 2021 you can join us online and virtually attend a programme of interesting presentations by excellent Irish healthcare providers.

   Chat online with employers and ask any questions you may have about the different vacancies

Are you an Irish Healthcare employer looking for candidates that may be out of your local reach?

A range of recruitment services will be available to employers, including publishing vacancies on the event’s website, automatic screening/matching /interview scheduling in advance of the event and jobseekers will be waiting to speak with you on the day. The event will be widely advertised in Europe through targeted social media campaigns, social media platforms and online.

In order to participate in the online event, you need to register and upload your jobs in advance. The registration for jobseekers will open soon and from that day we will promote your jobs to jobseekers in Ireland and Europe.

Ireland is a great country to live in. It has the youngest population in Europe and the education system amongst the best in the world.  It’s a multicultural country with foreign nationals accounting for 12.7% of the total population. Ireland has an enormous amount to offer including an incredibly rich culture, lively people, an impressive outdoor lifestyle to keep you healthy and fit and gorgeous landscapes.   

In order to participate online in this recruitment event, you need to register in advance of the event.  

Apply for posted jobs in advance of the event! 

To date 35 employers from Ireland have joined the event with over 380 positions advertised and more will become available in the coming days. You can now browse and apply for jobs that match your profile, make contact with employers and book one or more job interviews.

REMEMBER: Registering for this event and uploading your CV is not enough. If you want employers to view your CV and be able to invite you for an interview you must apply for the job vacancy directly and before the day of the event. 

Companies may invite you for one or more online interviews.  In the case where you are pre-selected, you will get a notification by the employer(s) on possible timeslots for the interview, to which you should answer as quickly as possible.

Programme

Join us online on the 23rd November 2021 for some great presentations and chats with exhibitors. You can also interact and ask questions about the presentations via live chat.  

During the event, employers and EURES Advisers will be available online on a chat to answer your questions. If you don't have any pre-set interviews, this may be still your chance to get more information on job requirements and to apply for jobs that are of interest to you.
