OIP in Oudenaarde, Belgium, develops opto-electronic solutions for Space and Defence. For our space projects, we are currently looking for a Electronical Engineer.
You will join the electronics design team in Oudenaarde, Belgium, and will be involved in the full hardware development cycle of our products. You’ll have the chance to work with challenging projects designed for extreme environments. Our designs are related to image processing, sensor readout, system integration, digital and analog electronics.
Your work will vary from realizing power supplies, cabling/harnessing to creating digital electronics with state of the art FPGA and microcontrollers. You will have the opportunity to learn and design these products in assistance with experienced project teams. A project team can be related to a defense or a space projects.
You work with Altium Designer for schematic entry and pcb layout. Follow up, startup and debugging of the product is a part of the job. Your creativity will be appreciated in solving problems. You’re responsible for the documentation related to your design. You will be involved in improving our design procedures and methodologies.
Profile:
Higher technical training at master level with strong technical commercial experience
Experience in managing complex projects (in an international context) is mandatory.
Knowledge of optical systems is an asset, as well as experience in space projects.
You represent OIP at the highest level. This assumes a strong personality, power of persuasion and excellent communication skills in English.
You are flexible and ready to stay abroad on a regular basis, if required by the program you are responsible for.
