How to join a job interview

Conducting online interviews

A new video conferencing tool, Jitsi, has been introduced to the European (Online) Job Days Platform to simplify and enhance the job interview process for jobseekers and employers.

If you have a confirmed interview slot with a jobseeker, navigate to the "Job applications" section in your dashboard menu and click on "Job interviews set." On the next page, select the interview you wish to join and click "JOIN INTERVIEW" to connect with the jobseeker at the scheduled time. You will be automatically redirected to a video call where the interview will take place.

Additionally, you will be able to browse all communication tools specified by the jobseeker and use them externally to conduct an online interview with the candidate. To access this information, click the "Manage" button, then select "See profile" (see image above). If available, alternative contact options will be listed under the "Contact options" section (see example below).

If necessary, the traditional email and/or phone system can also be used.
