Software Architect (C++ and/or Python)

Job Description:

As a software architect in research and development you’ll be pivotal in driving our on-going projects. You’ll be working closely together with other disciplines to create the best possible project for our customers. But a key responsibility will be to fully support our software developers and improve the overall quality, process and structure of our software products. You’ll also have to be comfortable in supporting a team of software developers. Our R&D team are a highly enthusiastic and motivated team, so you’ll need to fit seamlessly into that working environment.

Key requirements:

– Master’s degree in computing, computer science and engineering or similar with a minimum of 7 years relevant work experience;

– Experience in a similar function in software development, preferably product development;

– In-depth working knowledge of software languages C++ and/or Python;

– Affiliation with manufacturing techniques and subsequent fields of expertise like mechanics;

– Experience with open source projects is preferred;

– Conceptually strong with an eye for detail;

– A proactive, passionate and inventive attitude;

– A flexible frame of mind and the capability to work under pressure;

– Experience in working with technical teams colleagues from different backgrounds.
