
Digital Marketing Specialist (m/w/d)
We are looking for an organized and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to support the German market. In this role, you will be responsible for managing local digital campaigns, content, and lead generation strategies, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
You will take the lead in developing and optimizing web content on Drupal, creating automated marketing campaigns using tools like Marketo and Knak, and building effective playbooks for our chatbot tool.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to improve lead follow-up processes, analyze campaign performance, and provide insights to optimize conversion rates. You will report to the Marketing Specialist for Germany and play a key role in aligning marketing initiatives with business outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
Web Management & Content
- Manage and optimize local web content on Drupal in line with brand guidelines and regional priorities.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to localize global assets and create engaging, market-relevant materials (e.g. blogs, landing pages).
Marketing Automation
- Build and run automated campaigns in Marketo and Knak to support lead nurturing and targeted outreach.
- Ensure proper segmentation and personalization.
Chatbot Playbook Development
- Design and implement chatbot playbooks to boost engagement and lead generation.
- Analyze performance data and optimize based on insights.
Sales Enablement
- Work closely with Sales to streamline lead management and provide tools and insights for better follow-up.
- Align on lead scoring and qualification criteria.
Analytics & Insights
- Track and analyze campaign performance to assess impact.
- Deliver actionable insights to improve conversion rates and ROI.
- Regularly report KPIs and recommendations.
General Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (paid media, social, email) for the German market.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute innovative ideas.
Working hours: Monday to Friday | 40 hours/week
What We Expect:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, web content management (preferably with Drupal), and marketing automation.
- Proficiency in using Marketo and Knak (or similar platforms) to create and optimize marketing workflows.
- Solid understanding of chatbot tools and the development of playbooks.
- Experience collaborating with sales teams to improve lead management processes.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
- Familiarity with the German market and a track record of successfully localizing global strategies for regional execution.
- Experience in the B2B tech or software industry, ideally in a global organization.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Skills in basic graphic design or familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Previous involvement in campaign localization and international marketing coordination.
- Experience working in agile marketing teams or fast-paced environments.
- Passion for emerging digital marketing trends and tools.
