As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in documenting our product features, enhancing user experience through clear and engaging content, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across all materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create internal and external documentation, support UX writing, and manage localisations.
You’ll be a crucial part of shaping how users interact with our product, ensuring they have the best possible experience through clear and effective communication. This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, user-focused, and passionate about simplifying complex information into easy-to-understand content.
What you will do:
Documentation & Content Creation:
- Create and maintain internal documentation (feature explanations, guidelines) in collaboration with the Product Owners.
- Develop external documentation for the Help Centre to ensure customers have clear, up-to-date resources.
- Support UX writing in crafting intuitive microcopy, tool tips and error messages in collaboration with the Product Design team.
- Ensure localisation of content for different markets, working with relevant stakeholders.
Quality Assurance & Brand Consistency:
- Proofread and ensure high-quality, error-free content across all platforms.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice in all written materials, aligning with tamigo’s messaging.
- Conduct periodic reviews of existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
- Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, Support, CSMs, and Onboarding teams to gather insights and improve documentation.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing across the company about product features and updates.
- Advocate for user-focused writing, ensuring clarity and ease of use in all materials.
You are an ideal fit if you have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing, content writing or UX writing, preferably in a SaaS or IT-driven environment.
- Proven ability to create clear, structured, and engaging documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Tech-savvy with an interest in learning new software and tools.
