Python Developer - Wexford
Scurri optimises the ordering, shipping and delivery processes for a growing list of online retailers and distribution companies. We make it easier for well known brands to ship goods to their customers around the world.

An ever-growing demand for online shopping means that we have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Python Developer to join our expanding team and play a key role in propelling our further growth.

Our Developers work in squads according to lean, agile and continuous improvement practices in order to support the delivery of billions of Euros worth of transactions across Europe. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing integrations with a large number of third-party APIs
  • Scaling our product to handle the volume from large retailers
  • Maintaining our standards of High Availability
  • Designing software that can be easily adapted and deployed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • The ability to work from our Wexford Town, Co Wexford, Ireland head office 3 days per week.
  • 3 years+ experience as a Python Developer
  • Good working knowledge of Git, AWS and a background of system design and architecture.
  • Strong engineering principles
  • Extensive experience with unit and acceptance testing tools/practices
  • A strong belief in Lean and Agile development processes
  • JavaScript and front-end technologies is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
