He/she is in charge of carrying out the installation work in the field of new construction, rerouting, maintenance, breakdowns and testing of high-voltage cable systems in Denmark and other Scandinavia . If necessary, this work will be carried out outside normal working hours. He/ She reports to the Installation Manager and /or the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises the execution of the installation work by its own people and subcontractors, from start to completion, and in accordance with the applicable rules regarding QHSE;
- Draws up / finalizes an execution plan / schedule within the framework of the contract and coordinates it with the client and subcontractors;
- Maintenance on behalf of client in contact with the customer, the (sub)contractors and other stake holders;
- Assists with implementation budgets for tenders;
- Chairs construction meetings or attends construction meetings on behalf of client;
- Takes care of the invoicing of the services and deliveries provided in the meantime and draws up a cost estimate and a manual after the work has been completed;
- Ensures that the work is carried out in accordance with the QHSE guidelines and participates in workplace inspections ;
- Participating in the 24/7 emergency service
- Is responsible for: the organisation of the work and conditions within the cost budget and in accordance with the contract provisions;
- Reporting on (financial) progress, reporting complaints, deviations and incidents;
- Conducting negotiations in the field of contract variations with the client and contractors;
- Have knowledge of and compliance with work procedures and regulations related to QHSE and Safety Culture;
- Informs the internal organisation in a timely manner regarding the provision of capacity;
- Obtaining timely approval for the submitted cost estimates;
- Organizing and participates in regular consultations, including kick-off meetings, carrying out toolbox meetings, periodic workplace inspections and RI&E inspections at the start of work.
- Empowered to deciding on problems in the field (possibly after consultation with the internal organisation, depending on the nature of the problem);
- The outsourcing and call-off of services within a framework contract or subcontract;
- Having and maintaining customer contacts and to make commitments in setting priorities within the overall planning and implementation of the project and deciding in case of deviations;
- drawing up and further negotiating contracts with subcontractors in consultation with the internal organisation;
- Checking and approving accounts of subcontractors and suppliers within the procuration.
- Setting priorities and taking measures in the context of progress, making binding agreements with customers and any subcontractors about implementation aspects within the contract, changing within the specified design and execution of the work as well as the release for delivery of the completed execution of the work in accordance with the assignment.
- Carrying out measurements and tests on cables such as high voltage tests, Sheath fault localization, etc.
- Preparing quotations and maintaining customer contacts with regard to the provision of Services only.
