Vacanze col Cuore is a group of 9 "glamping" resorts and boutiques located in stunning Italian and Dutch destinations: 4 resorts overlook the picturesque shore of Lake Garda, near Salò; 1 glamping boutique is facing Lake Idro; 1 can be found in the Tuscan hinterland, in Chianti region; 1 resort is in Maremma, a few kilometers from the sea, facing Elba Island; our biggest Country Resort is in Denekamp, on the border between Holland and Germany and finally we opened in July 2024 our Lago Trasimeno Glamping Resort, in the green Umbria region.
Vacanze col Cuore arises in 2018 from the love for hospitality of the Dutch-Italian family Van de Loo-Scalvini and it aims to propose an idea of innovative tourism that combines natural contexts and hospitality services of the highest level.
Loek Van de Loo and his wife Mariacristina Scalvini gave life, in the early 80s, to the Dutch tour operator Vacanceselect, that has been for almost 40 years a leader in open-air and camping holidays. During his experience in tourism Loek Van de Loo, winner of the prestigious ADAC Camping Award in 2020 and currently considered the father of glamping in Italy, took over the ownership of Weekend Glamping Resort, in San Felice del Benaco (Lake Garda) and expanded the offer of Il Gabbiano Park Residence, owned by his wife Mariacristina. With the acquisition, in recent years, of 7 new resorts in Tuscany, Northern Italy, Umbria and the Netherlands, the new challenge of the Van de Loo-Scalvini family is the group Vacanze col Cuore, synonymous with holidays in locations of considerable landscape value, hospitality, family welcome and attention to every single guest. The importance of tailor-made services, accommodations with every comfort, food, wine and entertainment, make the holiday in one of our resorts a truly unforgettable open-air experience.
