Job offer description

This is our first dedicated PA position, so it is vital for us to find someone who is excited about reviewing our existing processes and working out how best for us to run PA moving forward. In the future we will look to expand the team as our project needs grow.

In this key position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers for all things PA and you’ll coordinate with all internal departments. As a valued member of our global team, you will foster and enhance proactive quality processes, ensuring product compliance and optimising quality costs.

We feel that being around the team in person and being available to be hands on with the hardware on a regular basis is important. Therefore the role is a hybrid one, with time in the office each week, so being based in Helsinki is a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing quality requirements in customer projects, including the acceptance of documentation and hardware
  • Participating in feasibility studies (compliance matrix) during the tender preparation process
  • Managing non-conformities internally, with suppliers, and as a customer liaison
  • Defining, continuously improving, and implementing quality management measures (e.g., creating PA plans)
  • Supporting internal or supplier audits
  • Evaluating and communicating key performance indicators

Job requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in product/quality assurance in the space industry.
  • Experience working in PA/QA on GEO (geo-stationary) satellite projects.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with an engineering background.

  • Familiarity with standard QM systems such as ISO9001 and EN9100
  • Skilled in QA tools including root cause analysis, process flow, control plans, process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and 8D Corrective Action Process methodology.
  • You are a highly proactive team player with excellent technical communication and presentation skills.
  • You are willing and able to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of ECSS and IPC guidelines, along with training as a process auditor, is advantageous.
