Samala Care ApS is part of a larger group with departments located across most of Zealand. We provide social services and initiatives to a wide range of municipalities nationwide. Our services are centered around the citizen and are particularly suited for individuals who need to be in a structured, familiar, and professional autism-friendly environment that also focuses on managing the individual’s stress levels.

At Samala, we believe that everyone should be part of a community, and well-being is the foundation for finding one’s place in society and to be able to access its resources and communities. Therefore, our mission is to work with our citizens to help them create a life filled with meaningful and educational activities.

We have extensive experience working with socially vulnerable children, youth, and adults facing psychological challenges, including individuals with pervasive developmental disorders (Autism, Asperger's syndrome, GUA), psychiatric disorders, and mental illnesses, such as ADHD, ADD, OCD, Tourette's syndrome, as well as young people with early trauma/neglect.

In our shared housing, solo-living facilities, and residential centers under Samala Living and Residential Services (SBO), we specialize in creating safe environments and developmental settings for our users.

Our 4 Virtues:

At Samala, we strive to ensure that these virtues are part of everything we say and do.

The feeling of psychological safety increases when we help each other become better versions of ourselves. This is the foundation of all our work with citizens. Therefore, we follow our own principles and provide each other with feedback and coaching on these behaviors.

  1. Self-awareness before self-confidence
  2. Hard work before intentions
  3. Honesty before compassion
  4. Facts before feelings
