Job offer description
As an Assistant Construction Manager, you will work within the Construction department of the Networks Department and will be responsible for activities related to the execution of works for the efficiency and development of the water distribution network.
What you will do:
- you will oversee supervising site activities.
- you will supervise plant operations that impact on network operation.
- you will coordinate with the other company structures involved in the execution of the works and with the entities and users affected by the works.
- you will have to report any problems relating to safety at work.
- you will oversee acquiring in stock all the materials necessary to draw up the delivery notes for collection by the company.
- you will carry out all on-site measurements in order to transfer the as built surveys to the cartography.
- you will draw up the accounts for payment to the contractor for the works.
- you will report to the Director of Works all news and information useful for the proper management of the contract.
Job requirements
- Industrial expert or Surveyor or Civil/Environmental Engineer.
- knowledge of accounting documents (List of Unit Prices, Estimated Metric Calculation, Measurement Booklet, State of Works Progress, Accounting Register and Certificate of Payment) and of regulations related to public works (Legislative Decree no. 50/2016 and Presidential Decree no. 207/2010) is required.
- although not directly carrying out tasks as Safety Coordinator in the execution phase, it is preferable to have obtained the qualification to carry out this role pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments and integrations.
