Hotel chambermaid for working at Irida Resort Suites

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Chambermaid to join our team. As a Chambermaid, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests. With your attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, you will play a critical role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Change bed linen and make beds
• Replace used towels
• Sweep and mop floors
• Vacuum carpets
• Dust furniture
• Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
• Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar
• Clean public areas, like corridors
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
• Help guests retrieve lost items
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
• Follow hotel security guidelines

• Requirements
• Previous experience as a Chambermaid or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as laundry bags or cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques
• Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism at all times
• Positive attitude and a willingness to provide exceptional customer service
