This role will require you to safely guided river trips on up to Grade 4+(5) whitewater and to guide the customers through the canyons. Under limited supervision, you must be able to work independently using your own initiative. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, is able to deliver high levels of customer service, and have the ability to problem solving. We need a rafting and canyoning guide able to be flexible and adaptable in tailoring trips to suit individual needs, abilities and expectations.
Duties and responsibilities:

Ensure trips are run in a safe and timely manner.
Reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong communication skills and the ability to talk with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Physically fit and enjoy being outdoors in all weathers.
Must be able to lift, load and unload rafts/kayaks from a trailer.
Cleaning and drying of client paddling and canyoning gear (wetsuits, PFD’s, harnesses and neoprene boots).
Engage with guests and be attentive to their needs. Must be able to work on team environment.

Education, work experience, language, certificates etc.
At least 5 years of previous commercial whitewater guiding experiences, grade 4/5
At least 5 years of previous experiences with commercial canyoning guiding
Rescue 3 certification required
IRF guide certification required
A positive, supportive team player
Excellent verbal communication skills in English
Willing and eager to interact positively with a range of age groups, from small children to seniors
Maintaining a positive attitude that exemplifies excellent customer service
Working hours: 37,5 per week
Salary 690 NOK per trip
