We are looking for an Audio DSP SW developer to work on our ultra-low power DSP for the future state-of-the-art hearing instrument.



At GN Resound, we are known for great sound quality, design excellence and meaningful solutions that help people with hearing challenges rediscover hearing. Among our latest innovations is ReSound LiNX™, the world’s first made for iPhone® hearing aid.



As our new audio DSP SW Developer, you will join the Algorithm Development Copenhagen team in an international software development group. Working in a project oriented development culture where cross-functional teamwork, innovation and sparring are natural parts of your daily work. We are nine developers and work in close collaboration with research, audiology and hardware when developing audio signal processing software for our hearing instrument and accessory products.



You participate in development phases from definition until release and support. Depending on your experience, you take ownership of various algorithm modules and participate in new technology development with research and other teams. In particular, you:

• Provide innovative and optimal algorithm solutions and assure high quality implementation of these.

• Develop in a test-driven manner and participate during the integration and clinical testing of new features.

• Participate in cross-functional projects ranging from 2-18 months.



Your experience and background

• You hold a degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science. We have room for both experienced and less experienced candidates.

• You have experience with audio signal processing, Matlab simulations and fixed point processing.

• You also have experience with low-level embedded software development, strong skills within C and assembler programming. Experience with C# is an advantage.

• You speak, read and write English fluently.

• Experience within Continuous Integration development is an advantage.

• Experience in electro acoustics and/or audiology is an advantage.
