For The SCADA hardware team in the Technology Department for software and SCADA located in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an electrical engineer to take a key role in the design and maintenance of the SCADA hardware platform used globally in all Siemens Wind Power Plants. The SCADA hardware team consists of a group of dedicated employees. The team is responsible for the wind farm IT platform and for the design and production of the SCADA systems used for supervision, control and data acquisition from all wind farms globally.

What are my responsibilities?

· Ownership and responsibility for the design of the SCADA and Meteorology hardware platform to meet customer and regulatory requirements · Contribution to continuous improvement of electrical platform, processes and methods · Design documentation; e.g. purchase specifications, electrical documentation, work instructions · Handling of engineering change notes and engineering change requests · Ensuring availability of SCADA product documentation in Teamcenter

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You have an education as an electrical engineer, electrician, marine engineer or similar and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Preferably you have experience with panel design and layout · You master Caddy++ / SEE Electrical, AutoCAD or similar programs · You have knowledge of RDS-PP (Reference Designation System for Power Plants) and DCC (Document Classification Code) · Some experience and interest in working within UL, CE and DS/EN standards; e.g. DS/EN 61439-1 / 61439-2 – Low voltage switch gear and control gear assemblies · Experience from the wind industry is an advantage but not a requirement · You are a dedicated team player · You thrive in a multi-cultural environment, have strong communication skills and can interface with numerous parties · You deliver high quality – also under pressure · You possess fluency in spoken and written English and preferably also Danish In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
