As our Acoustic Development Engineer, you will join the Product Platforms department, which is located in Ballerup, Denmark. We are responsible for developing hardware for GN ReSound hearing aids and wireless accessories. More specifically, you will be part of a team consisting of 5 Senior Engineers who value professional sparring and working in depth with acoustic methods and tools – both individually and in platform and wireless accessory projects.



Develop acoustic technologies and secure vibro-acoustic stability

In this job, your main focus will be on developing our hearing aid product platforms and wireless communication accessories as well as the acoustic technologies to be applied in these. This entails carrying out vibro-acoustic optimisation of designs including simulations and analysis of prototypes. In particular, you:

• select acoustic transducers

• design the acoustic signal paths

• mature new ideas into proven concepts that are prototyped and tested

• document and present results of acoustic investigations

• integrate and optimise entire new hearing systems and verify performance

• carry out technical investigations relating to validation of benefit involving test persons



Do you have what it takes to make ReSound even more successful?

• You hold a Master, Bachelor or Ph.D. degree in Acoustic Engineering or have proven experience with similar product development. This combined with 5-10 years of R&D experience.

• You are experienced in practical acoustic measurements, data analysis and MS office.

• It is an advantage if you have experience in simulation of acoustics and vibrations (FEM/BEM, Spice), Matlab, hearing aids, acoustic transducers and acoustic signal processing.

• You speak, read and write English fluently – other language skills are an advantage.



As a person, you are innovative and creative. You possess great energy and drive allowing you to work in a performance oriented manner while at the same time having a structured approach to your tasks. Finally, you have excellent cooperation and communication skills.
