Kedington Ltd (Part of the ExcelRedstone Group) is the largest IT network infrastructure solutions company in Ireland. We provide active and passive IT network solutions, structured cabling and data centre engineering services to organisations of all sizes in the public and private sector.

 

As part of our continued growth and expansion in the Limerick region, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will have responsibility for both sales and delivery of structured cabling projects, with assistance from the wider team.

 

The Account Manager will be based in our Limerick office on Clare Street.

 

Main duties include:

  • Grow market share within the region.
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develop and achieve agreed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure the delivery of projects to the highest standards on budget and on programme.
  • Ensure the project is brought in on or under budget and margins are monitored weekly.
  • Liaise with client representatives at start up meetings/ coordination meetings.
  • Monthly invoicing i.e. inform business support team project complete and request to be invoiced.
  • Final accounts: For larger projects complete a schedule of completed works and variations and submit for approval/ agreement to client before request for invoicing.
  • Manage Handover documentation with Kedington support team.
  • Monitor milestone dates for handover of projects.
  • Meeting with specialist sub-contractors where required.
  • Manage face to face customers sales at the trade counter.

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in the Data Networks / Structured Cabling Industry or the electrical / services industries.
  • Numbers orientated, with an understating of financial spread sheets and their implications.
  • A passion for the industry.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills, with a proven ability to negotiate.
  • Ambition is a must for this role, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a driven attitude.
