About the role
As a Queue-it Software Engineer, you’ll join an autonomous development team working towards the mission of online fairness for all. You’ll be a critical defender of regular people against ticket scalpers, sneaker bots, and other bad actors creating an unfair game.
At Queue-it, we face a constant struggle to keep our queues clear from abuse. In this role, you will play a vital role in making the online world a better, fairer place by monitoring misconduct and designing and implementing mitigation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Design and verify security improvements to our bot and abuse SaaS offerings. Using a hacker mindset, deliver fresh ideas and insights to build solid solutions that will have an impact on billions of end users.
Collaborate for success. Work with a smart, motivated backend development team to design and QA test final solutions.
Validate mitigation solutions. Build bots/scripts that verify your initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of web technologies and network security
- Experience as a PenTester, or have used and developed bot scripts/tools
- Basic understanding/experience with object-oriented programming (ex. C#)
- Experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) would be beneficial
- Proficiency in English (Danish not required)
