Key Responsibilities As a member of Project Zero’s Laboratory function you are ultimately responsible for identifying the need for, creating the game plan for and implementing sustainable Safety change in Maersk Drilling. You will achieve this by working with and through other teams globally in a matrix organization. You will use Process thinking and approaches in a very practical way to ensure that approaches are simple and useful. You will seek inspiration and learning from industry peers and other fields. Basic responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: •Truly being an agent that delivers change •VOP (Voice of Process) channel that feeds back into process modifications, system enhancements, hardware upgrades, training approaches, etc. •Driving process, organizational and role & responsibility evolutions and implementations •Participate in Gemba treks offshore & rig teams •Research and development of safety hardware & PPE that improves Safety Performance •Experimental approaches •Designing and in some cases delivering new training approaches to the organization •Establishing global standards with local flavors •External partnering to identify and work with key strategic partners that can assist us Who we are looking for You are an experienced Process Improver / Change Agent working in a global matrix organization. You have proven results that are derived from methodical planning and ensuring stakeholder buy-in throughout the organization. You either possess a background related to Safety in offshore drilling activities and onshore management and work activities – or you are hungry and ready to learn as much as you can in order to succeed in your role. You have the ability to obtain offshore Safety courses and medical certificates complying with the requirements stipulated for regular crew by the Continental Shelf Authorities in the areas we operate in. You are a motivated self-starter with drive, initiative, result-orientation and commitment to excellence. You do not require micro-management and you enjoy sparring with Leaders to achieve optimal results. You are a multi-tasking team player with the ability to support other functions within the team as needed.
