For our Project Management team, we are looking for a Construction Specialist with extensive technical knowledge. As a Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for high profiled assignments with both large and small scope involving broad organizational corporation. Results that must be achieved in the job are delivery of the projects on time and in top quality considering that the projects most often involve complex internal and external stakeholder processes. It will be a specific requirement that the projects accommodate Siemens Wind Power’s efforts to standardize planning and installation processes. What are my responsibilities? • Project management of Siemens construction activities within port areas • Internal process mapping related to preassembly and construction activities and implementation of do. • Scenario analysis and evaluation of construction related options • EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Contracting) management related to isolated construction tasks (e.g. sea fastening, transport solutions etc.) • Port surveys and assessments What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have a relevant educational background, e.g. Construction Engineer, Construction Architect, Mechanical Engineer or Marine Engineer • You have experience with construction related project management including internal and external stakeholder management combined with offshore and/or marine related activities • Intercultural understanding and ability in working with both managers and specialists • You are structured and quality oriented • You are able to handle multiple parallel tasks and provide a clear plan for the activities • You are a strong communicator with excellent English skills, both orally and in writing, as well as excellent intercultural competences In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
