The Sales & Marketing department part of Vestas Global IT is responsible for providing advisory to the business units about technology and processes supporting the Commercial and Service processes. We are an international team of five enthusiastic professionals whose mission is to generate value for Vestas in the processes under our responsibility in Marketing, Sales and Service and we are using IT sourcing partners to scale up our deliveries. Vestas Global IT is supporting and the key advisor in our Salesforce journey and you will be a key contributor to our exciting journey. 

We are looking for a Solution Architects that can build, improve and optimise Vestas Salesforce solutions in the digital direction; within Field Service and Service Cloud processes developing our Service solutions. You will empower us to achieve our goals of strengthening the entire commercial business area. To do so, you will act as a trusted advisor for the line of business, Group IT, the management, and our IT vendors.

Responsibilities 

Your overall responsibility is to be trusted advisor and create target architecture for Salesforce processes in Field Service & Service Cloud. You will have a technical leadership role in the definition and execution of the target architecture for our Salesforce Platform in the processes, always applying your keen eye for optimising and streamlining our solutions. 

More specifically, you will participate in projects and: 

• Collaborate with business and IT to define, develop and communicate value-driven solutions considering cross-functional business objectives 
• Ensure the right quality in the solution design and delivery from our vendors 
• Support the Commercial or the Service team with understanding of key deliveries 
• Collaborate with senior management in global Service Operation & Commercial Service to facilitate business strategy implementation 
• Own the Salesforce IT roadmap capturing Service business demands, the derived IT scopes and associated business cases 
• Support prioritisation and budgeting of business demands with a clear understanding of value, scope, impact, and cost 

Qualifications 

• Proficiency in IT (e.g. Service Cloud & Field Service) architecture with expertise in process management or digital products for global businesses 
• Senior level understanding of business process improvement or digital innovation 
• Extensive experience in implementing Salesforce platform with focus on Service Cloud and Field Service 
• Experience in implementing digital solutions 
• Ability to communicate technical information to and influence a wide and varied audience, from IT staff to senior executive management 
• Advanced written and spoken English language skills 
• Proven solid presentation skills

Additional information 

Primary work location is Aarhus N, Denmark (alternatives such as Copenhagen or other Vestas location can be discussed). A certain amount of travel activity can occur but less than 25 days annually.
