As a Test Method and Tools Developer at Melexis, you will be developing software tools needed for the Test community to increase their productivity and enjoyment.
More specifically, you will
- accurately and clearly transform user stories into working code, documented and tested
- maintain, document and support existing custom tools and automation scripts
- provide user and support documentation, test logs and other relevant documents to facilitate release to production
- implement automated acceptance tests using the most appropriate testing framework in order to minimize the manual work and error rate in test results
- propose and evaluate new technologies and practices in the software development teams
Profile:
- Master Degree in Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent
- preferably a few years of experience in industrial software development
- languages: Java. Knowledge of Perl/Python/C++ will be a benefit
- experience with automated unit, integration and functional tests
- knowledge of ATE development methods Experience in IC test would be a plus
- background in engineering would be a plus
- databases and transactional systems: Oracle, SQL
