Staff Nurse - Many locations- Dublin

We are currently seeking skilled Registered Staff Nurses to join our Nursing Team who will contribute to delivering the high standards of care to our residents. You will be employed in one of our homes across Dublin:

- CareChoice Swords (Swords, Dublin)

- CareChoice Malahide Road (Northern Cross, Dublin)

- CareChoice Finglas (Finglas, Dublin)

- The Marlay Nursing Home (Rathfarnham, Dublin 16)

- Newtownpark House Nursing Home (Blackrock, Co Dublin)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assume responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated residents,
• Ensure a high standard of care for the elderly is maintained at all times,
• Lead the Health Care Assistant in providing high quality care
• Build strong relationships with residents to encourage trust, and understand their needs,
• Evaluate resident care needs and in conjunction with our multi-disciplinary team implement and evaluate individualised care plans that meet the resident’s needs,
• Ensure all documentation relating to residents is accurately maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Candidates must be registered with An Bord Altranais
• Excellent Clinical, Leadership and Organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound decision-making ability
• A qualification in Gerontology desirable, but not essential.
