Description and Requirements

TELUS International AI Data Solutions is looking for a Qualification Specialist who will work on the creation and validation of new qualifications. The Qualification Specialist will collaborate with Sourcing, Content Development, and Program teams to ensure qualification paths are well-defined and validated. The role will require analyzing data across multiple programs and presenting it on a regular and ad-hoc basis to the program teams. This role will ensure that all qualification paths meet company-wide standards. They will also collaborate with the development team to ensure that the platform meets requirements.


  • Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns for qualification process improvements

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards based on the needs of the team

  • Define the qualifications test creation/validation process

  • Quality Assurance of tests is maintained 

  • Test creation/validation processes are followed and meet rigorous, well-defined standards

  • Carry out regular reviews of qualifications 

  • Work collaboratively with the Quality and Production teams to ensure that appropriate insights and contributions are given at appropriate points in the qualification, design, and review process

  • Train and coach new team members

  • Recognize education problems that require escalation and communication with management

  • Drive continuous improvement and change throughout the qualification area and ensure learning content is effective to support candidates

  • Ensure the necessary applications, databases, and systems are in place to support the qualification team

Skills & Experience:

  • Work experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Data Science

  • A background in Linguistics is an advantage

  • Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office and GSuite applications, especially Excel and Data Studio 

  • Experience in Test creation/Quality Assurance is an advantage

  • A problem-solver with excellent multi-tasking and decision-making skills

  • An ideas person who can provide solutions for the business

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a target-driven approach to tasks

  • Strong communicator with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and at all levels

  • Able to prioritize work and manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and minimal supervision

  • Able to work with multiple teams with changing requirements 

  • Able to present data analysis in a way that is coherent and easy to understand 

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong administration skills
