Description and Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides technical support (software and  hardware)

  • Maintain the systems (user account creation, permissions, archiving, etc.)

  • Apply security (systems security and anti-virus corporate policies)

  • Participate in the daily purchasing process

  • Register hardware and software in the asset management system

  • Install and configure new equipment (hardware and software)

  • Resolve any requests in a timely and efficient manner, with as little impact on production as possible

  • Ensure that all systems are running efficiently with minimal downtime or interruption to production

  • Ensure that all systems conform to TELUS International policies and standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a technical support environment.

  • Good knowledge of PCs and Mac, all versions of MS Windows, in all areas of troubleshooting and administration.

  • Familiarity with the Internet.

  • Knowledge of any of the following is advantageous: Networking, Macintosh, Office365, PowerShell, ServiceNow.

  • The candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team, and also on their own in a dynamic environment positive and professional attitude, and advanced interpersonal skills.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a smile. 

  • Ability to multitask, plan and prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Finnish language skills is a plus

  • This position requires presence in the Tampere office, WFH NOT possible.
