Nordea Finance Equipment is now looking for three software developers to join our development of our front office systems. Systems are web applications and built on a functional programming platform.

 

We are working in an agile environment with several autonomous where we focus on specific products / web applications – one where you can make an impact. About this opportunity

 

Welcome to an engaging development team. We work together in teams consisting of developers, designers, business developers and domain specialists. We add value by building web applications for internal working officers and salesmen, suppliers and end users. As software developer you will play a valuable role in creating high-performing, flexible, robust, scalable and easily maintainable systems in Nordea Finance.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Building web applications in the functional languages Scala and Elm.
  • Working both with frontend and backend as a full stack developer.
  • Working together with the rest of your multidisciplinary agile product team.
  • Working closely with the other product teams to reach common goals.

 

We are building up a team of developers in Helsinki with an aim of close cooperation with the rest of the team located in Oslo. You would be based either in Helsinki or Oslo. Your experience and background:

  • Agile methodologies
  • Unit testing experience
  • Programming experience with JVM languages
  • Basic HTML and CSS
  • Git

 

As an advantage, familiarity or interest with some of the below:

  • Scala
  • Elm
  • Cloud technology
  • Functional programming

Our team is responsible of digital applications which are used by Nordea Finance customers. From business point of view we support finance instruments between B2B customers, and our team is responsible of the end-to-end development for end users.
