Job Description:
As an E&I Offshore Mechanic, you will:
- Identify faults and their causes based on input from technical colleagues/contractors offshore.
- Coordinate emergency repairs.
- Prepare technical work.
- Develop work schedules, determine material requirements, involve specialized third parties.
- Gather drawings, schematics, documentation, and obtain necessary permits.
- Place orders for materials and services within authorized limits.
- Prepare, organize, and coordinate regulatory inspections.
- Develop technical work plans for alternative execution solutions.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing work.
- Assist contractors and/or external specialists.
- Participate in work meetings.
- Support or resolve problems that cannot be resolved by offshore personnel.
- Maintain documentation, drawings/schematic files.
- Maintain the maintenance system and generate work orders.
- Conduct invoice verification and obtain approvals.
- Prepare reports for supervisors.
- Assess the maintenance status based on inspection lists, record findings, initiate follow-up actions.
- Analyze process disruptions and propose improvements regarding maintenance concepts and technical installations.

Requirements:
We would like to discuss the E&I Offshore Mechanic position with you if you have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
- Minimum of a vocational /Higher Vocational Education degree in electrical engineering, and willingness to pursue additional training.
- Preferably possess offshore certificates.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a work preparer.
- Experience with electric motors, generators, fire and gas installations, NEN3140, NEN1010, ATEX, control valves, switch and distribution panels, cookers, communication equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics, calibration equipment, measurement and control technology, electrical schematics, cause and effect diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Offshore experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with common office software.
- Initiative, problem-solving skills, and organizational talent.
- Medically fit to visit offshore locations.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- It is mandatory that you live in a European country.
